The IBC center bridge — also called the cross beam — runs transversally across the underside of the base plate, acting as the primary anti-sag spine of the pallet. Stamped from heavier-gauge steel than the floor panel, it transfers forklift tine loads across the base structure and prevents the floor from deflecting under full liquid weight. It is the component most directly responsible for pallet longevity across repeated load cycles and refurbishment passes.
