The crescent-shaped pipe is an engineered alternative to the round horizontal tube, featuring a D-shaped cross-section profile that provides two key advantages over round tubing: its flat face facilitates cleaner, stronger welds to vertical tubes, and its asymmetric profile resists rotational movement under lateral impact — a deliberate engineering solution developed specifically to withstand the UN drop test requirements for IBC frames. Five crescent pipes run the full cage perimeter, identical in length and surface treatment to the round variant.
Surface treatment: Galvanized steel with high zinc coating for anti-oxidation protection.
