More than a simple tube, this single piece is purposely fabricated with a P‑shaped profile that is fundamental to the container’s assembly and structural strength.

 

This specialized P‑shape pipe, measuring 4175mm in length with an 18mm diameter, is engineered to ensure the IBC steel frame can withstand rigorous mandatory UN drop tests. The “P” shape is designed to provide a wide, stable flat surface. This surface is reinforced with precisely raised ribs, creating an ideal platform for secure welding of all twenty vertical support tubes that form the cage sidewalls.

 

Manufactured by Jieyuan Packaging, this component starts with premium galvanized steel coil with a durable zinc coating. It is formed through precise tube processing, longitudinal welding, stamping, and edge treatment to ensure consistent quality and performance. A small auxiliary tube is integrated along one side to serve as a pivot and interface point during frame bending and clinching, allowing the flat grid to lock into a rigid, square 3D cage structure.

 

Made from 1.15mm thick galvanized steel, the top horizontal tube delivers an ideal balance of strength, durability, and assembly efficiency. It serves as the top locking ring of the IBC cage, providing stable support for lid installation and safe stacking of IBC units.
